Travel habits and behaviors of Generation Z, millennials, Generation X, and Baby Boomers
This multi-generational study, in conjunction with Northstar research partners, probes the travel habits of German travellers, across generations. In addition to discovering key patterns, the study also offers data-driven insights for marketers looking to target these audiences. The study uncovers what motivates these generations to travel, what types of content they find most influential, and what resources they use to plan their trips.
Other insights include: all German generations prefer international travel, but they travel for often different reasons. For example, Millennials travel to relax while Gen Z travel to relax but also visit family. Meanwhile, while all generations prefer plane travel, Gen X and Boomers are more likely to travel by car.
