As a senior director of business development for North America and Latin America at Expedia Group Media Solutions, Jennifer Andre focuses on the creation and execution of digital media campaigns. Jennifer and her team specialize in developing strategic marketing programs for destinations, air, hotel, attractions and activities partners across the vast network of Expedia, Inc. travel brands and global points of sale.
Wendy Haase, Vice President, Destination Irvine
Wendy has over 21 years of experience in destination marketing. She started her career in Milwaukee and made the move to Southern California in 2007. She recently celebrated her 10th anniversary with Destination Irvine. She is actively involved with the California Travel Association. She balances life with swimming, biking, running, spending time with her two doxies and drinking craft beer.
Donnie Dawson, Deputy Director of Tourism – The Americas, Visit Jamaica
Mr. Donnie Dawson is Deputy Director of Tourism/Americas for the Jamaica Tourist Board with location in the Board’s Florida office. The position includes the administrative as well as sales and promotional marketing of the Board’s operation throughout the United States, Canada and Latin America.
An avid golfer, Mr. Dawson has been instrumental in organizing several golf events for Jamaica including the Celebrity Players Tournament (CPT), Travel & Leisure Golf Invitational Pro-Am, and the Jamaica Invitational Pro-Am “Annie’s Revenge”.
Jorge Franz, Senior Vice President of Tourism, Visit Houston
Jorge Franz is the Senior Vice President of Tourism for Visit Houston. He has been working for the Houston office since 2001 and in this capacity, is in charge of promoting Houston as a great place to visit. As a part of the realignment with Houston First, his responsibilities include working with travel trade to create to new initiatives that show measurable returns to Houston hospitality partners and new economic impact to Houston. He also oversees the “Visit Houston Marketplace” – an initiative where travelers can buy authentic Houston experiences.
Mr. Franz also oversees a team of professionals that focus on the international promotion of the City of Houston through Sales, Marketing and Public Relations efforts. This includes directing a staff of 11 in Houston along with representation agencies for Mexico, Europe, and Asia.
Kevin Froemming, Chief Commercial Officer, Playa Hotels & Resorts
Before becoming Chief Commercial Officer, Kevin Froemming served as Chief Marketing Officer of Playa Hotels & Resorts N.V. and its predecessor since January 2014. Prior to joining the company’s predecessor in January 2014, Mr. Froemming was President of Unique Vacations Inc., the worldwide representatives of Sandals & Beaches Resorts, from October 2003 to November 2013. Mr. Froemming brings to Playa more than 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, technology, and customer support operations.
Ana Paradela - Director, Business Development, Expedia Group Media Solutions
As director of business development for Expedia Group Media Solutions, Ana Paradela oversees the regions of Latin America, Mexico and Caribbean and is responsible for managing, motivating and coaching a team of travel marketing consultants. Ana has over 20 years of combined experience in the travel, hospitality and digital media sales. Prior to Expedia Group, Ana worked at Palace Resorts leading the Sales team in North America for 10 years.
Andy Mann - Senior Director, Business Development, Expedia Group Media Solutions
Andy leads business development and partner facing teams for Expedia Group Media Solutions’ growing sponsored listing business. His team works closely with global and regional hotel chains, management companies, agencies and local independent properties. Before joining Expedia, Andy worked at Lanyon and LivingSocial Escapes.
