VisitBritain and Expedia Media Solutions began working together for the first time in advance of the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Their challenge was to use the games as a platform to elevate the country, attract potential visitors, and measurably increase tourism numbers. VisitBritain was looking for a partner who could see the potential beyond the games – the culture, the heritage, the countryside – and implement an innovative and inspirational campaign to reach and grow their audience in lasting ways.
While the partnership between VisitBritain and Expedia Media Solutions began with that pre-Olympic planning, it has continued to flourish, becoming a Partnership of Firsts. Over multiple campaigns, we developed and implemented innovative, integrated marketing efforts with a global reach that continued to drive bookings and grow the VisitBritain brand.
